I actually use less contrast because I can precisely select the exact amount of contrast I want to inject … the CVi system gives you more control and knowledge of how much contrast is injected during the procedure compared to the hand manifold, which means less guessing!

The ACIST Navvus catheter can follow the runthrough wire through tortuosity that standard pressure wires cannot even come close to.

The advantage of the ACIST HDi IVUS is being able to see much more clearly. Dr. Allen Jeremias and I do basically every case imaging, physiology, one or both, and we have come to like ACIST for a number of reasons … it delivers like a microcatheter; it’s unbelievable. Another thing is that the short monorail allows you to get into more distal vessels than some of the long rapid exchanges like 30mm. You get superior resolution, there’s no size mismatch so you don’t oversize by IVUS when you do 60MHz, it’s a very easy to use interface, and it’s very fast.
